Job description
Join our growing and compassionate team at Riley Children's Health in Indiana! We are seeking a patient-focused Neonatologist to collaborate with our highly skilled teams at IU Health North Hospital just north of Indianapolis in Carmel, Indiana.
Position Details
- Primary day time clinical coverage in the Riley Children's at IU Health North Hospital Level III NICU
- Primary responsibility for covering the high-risk delivery service and consultation with high-risk mothers on the inpatient obstetric service. Available for outpatient consults as requested by Maternal-Fetal Medicine obstetric specialists.
- Night call expectations will be similar to other full-time faculty and will include in house weeknights and weekends.
- Possibility of clinical service at other NICUs managed by the Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Demonstrated skills in developing and implementing quality improvement projects or clinical guidelines to decrease variation in practice would be highly valued
- Advocacy for the needs of high-risk neonates and their families as appropriate
- Membership in the Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, including active participation in teaching curricula for medical students, pediatric residents, neonatal fellows, and Advanced Practice providers (NNPs and PAs)
- Participation in additional academic activities - faculty appointment with IU School of Medicine

Qualifications
- Completion of pediatric residency and neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship
- BE/BC in pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine
- Physician MD/DO licensed in or eligible for Indiana license
- New graduates and experienced providers encouraged to apply
