Product Sales Engineer - Mentor, OH (Hybrid + Travel)
$80,000 to $120,000 + Incentive plan
SUMMARY
Excellent career opportunity for a Product Sales Engineer based in Mentor, OH. This position is hybrid following an initial period of training. The Product Sales Engineer will be responsible for product sales primarily in North American markets.

We design and manufacture systems and products for industrial control applications all over the world, specializing in SCR Power Controllers, custom Transformers, and AC/DC Power Systems
Primary responsibilities will include:
Engage in customer sales calls - research, contact, schedule, and conduct sales meetings at customer accounts as a product expert; including product demos, customer process and application reviews, applying products to drive customer value, and relationship building.
Prepare and present product presentations and demonstrations to new and existing customers.
Provide targeted training for key customers to set up, configure, and operate our line of products.
Find and develop new customers in similar industry segments as well as new industry segments.
Report on product sales, trends, market competition, strategy, risk, and opportunities.
Write detailed trip reports of sales call activity.
Write customer proposals, negotiate contracts, enter orders, and invoice customers.
Estimated travel: 50-70% with occasional international travel.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
2+ years of Sales experience with technical products using solution selling or a value-for-price approach is required
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Travel may range from 50% to 75%, primarily within the US with occasional trips to Mexico and Canada.
Occasional international assignments: ability to obtain a US Passport is required.
Company covers travel expenses, including flights, accommodation, and meals.
Mileage is reimbursed if personal car is used, or a rental car can be provided with gas expenses covered.
RATE AND BENEFITS
Annual Salary: $80,000 to $120,000 ++ access to join Sales Incentive Plan of up to 40% bonus
