Director of Emergency Services – Myrtle Beach, SC 29572
- Salary : $95,180 - $152,276.
- Bonus Incentives : 15-22.5% potential.
- Sign-On Bonus : Up to $10,000.
- Relocation : Up to $10K for qualified candidates.
Position Overview : We are seeking a dedicated Director of Free Standing Emergency Services (FSED) to oversee our three FSEDs: North Strand (11 Beds), Carolina Forest (11 Beds), and South Strand (10 Main Beds, 2 Care Beds, 4 Hall Beds). This role emphasizes service growth, development, personnel management, and resource allocation to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee service quality, growth, development, and resource management.
- Participate in service, departmental, and hospital-wide committees.
- Advance the patient experience agenda in the Emergency Department.
- Coach and mentor subordinates, ensuring adherence to HR policies.
- Enforce emergency department care standards and compliance.
- Oversee a PI program monitoring critical aspects of care.
- Ensure departmental operational excellence.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor's degree in nursing (required), Master's degree in Nursing/Business Administration/Healthcare Administration (preferred).
- Experience : 3+ years in emergency services (required), 3+ years in a leadership role (preferred).
- Licensure : Registered professional nurse in the state.
- Certifications : ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and BLS.
