Utilities - King of Prussia, PA - Full Time
Ardmore Roderick is seeking a Project Manager to provide oversight and execute utility projects from initiation to completion. Your expertise in project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and stakeholder coordination will be essential for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- · 3 to 5 years of experience in project management within the utility industry.
- · Proven track record of successfully delivering utility projects on time and within budget.
- · Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- · Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- · Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- · Analytical mindset, with the ability to think strategically and solve problems.
- · Proficient in project management software and MS Office suite.
Preferred qualifications include:
- · Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Duties & Responsibilities
- · Lead and manage utility projects, ensuring deliverables are met according to scope, budget, and timeline.
- · Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- · Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment throughout project lifecycle.
- · Analyze project requirements, identify potential challenges, and develop contingency plans.
- · Monitor project progress, regularly report on key performance indicators, and proactively address any deviations.
- · Manage project budget, track expenses, and ensure cost efficiency.
- · Conduct thorough project evaluations, identifying areas of improvement and implementing lessons learned for future projects.
- · Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulations pertaining to utility projects.
- · Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, ensuring high morale and productivity.
- · Develops and maintains relationships with clients, peers, vendors and management.
