Executive Director, Commercial Solutions Lead About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 13 Executive Director, Commercial Solutions Lead Job Description Summary The Team: The Market Intelligence (MI) Commercial Solutions team partners with our business and technology stakeholders to deliver the tools that drive the Market Intelligence business forward. The team is comprised of Master Data Management, Go-To-Market (GTM) Program Management, GTM Product Management and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The team values a full partnership approach with thoughtful and disciplined analysis to quickly drive the best outcomes for customers and our people. The Impact: This role forensically understands the GTM processes throughout the Prospect to Support journey across MI and is critical to: 1. Gathering end-user requirements from our internal customers across the Sales & Marketing, Legal, Service and Finance organizations, 2. Translating them into data and technology requirements, and 3. Delivery following testing and managed rollout of solutions. This role also identifies and manages risks and dependencies across the teams within Commercial Solutions, and across the programs they are involved with and impacted by. They will provide valuable feedback and timely updates to stakeholders across the organization. You will be a key partner for small and large, organic and inorganic, commercial technology projects, from ideation through implementation. Responsibilities: • Provides leadership, direction, and consultation to the Commercial Solutions teams • Manage a team of senior managers that manage the Master Data Management, GTM Program Management, GTM Product Management and UAT teams • Promote a customer-centric culture of collaboration, diversity, and trust • Ensures alignment of priorities and organizational structure with the goals of the business • Leads team to deliver on priorities of the Sales & Marketing, Legal, Service and Finance organizations for Market Intelligence • Manage risks and dependencies across the Commercial Solutions teams, for individual programs and across programs • Identify and implement enhancements that drive efficiency across the Commercial Solutions teams • Partner with Digital Solutions to successfully implement programs that help Market Intelligence's customers drive growth • Collaborates with senior leadership to develop and meet goals while supplying expertise and guidance on commercial technology models • Develops, implements, and communicates the Commercial Solutions strategic direction, vision, and mission • Provides analysis, recommendations, and options to the MI leadership team, regarding high-impact decisions or issues What We're Looking For: • College degree in computer science, business or similar field, or equivalent work experience • 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a product, program or data role within commercial technology or implementing commercial enablement tools either in-house or as a consultant • Experience with Salesforce Revenue, Service and/or Marketing Cloud • Leadership experience managing multiple cross-functional teams • Business acumen: ability to think from an overall "best for the business" perspective • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal/team effectiveness - ability to communicate to various levels of management and employees succinctly and accurately • English fluency • Must be able to overlap with US time zones This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States. Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US candidates): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $180,000 to $220,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
