MyHHBS will train you in the field of applied behavior analysis to become a behavioral therapist and even a Registered Behavior Technician free of charge and while you are a paid employee! Applied Behavior Analysis is the science of human behavior. Our focus is to help families and clients change their behaviors to have a more meaningful and independent life. We do this by changing environmental variables. You do it too! Every single day!

Does someone saying "good job" to you make you want to continue doing a good job? ABA!
Qualifications
- Strong desire to work with children.
- Ethical team player
- Willing to be trained and accept feedback
Must have basic knowledge of the following:
- How to make someone smile!
- How to have fun!
- How to be flexible!
- How to provide and receive support for and from your colleagues.
- How to think "outside the box" and problem solve.
- How to ask for help and say "I dont know!"
If you can do all of the things above and/or at least want to learn how to do them, then give the field of ABA a chance.
- Must be self-motivated, responsible, honest, articulate, and be able to work independently and in a team.
- Consistent attendance with minimal cancellations
- Stand, sit, twist, kneel, bend over, crouch down, walk, sit/play on the floor for extended periods of time.
- Be able to lift, push and pull up to 40 pounds without assistance from another adult.
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
- Fluency with all Microsoft Office programs.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Changing behaviors!
- Run behavior programs (Dont worry; we will train you!)
- Take data on a table we provide (Dont worry; we will train you!)
- Provide social skills instruction (Dont worry; we will train you!)
Communication
- Maintain communication with consumer/parents/caregivers through email and phone calls.
- Maintain communication with Program Supervisor for mastery and new programs on each individual case.
- Conducts one-on-one consumer/parent/caregiver sessions.
- All sessions are face to face, and not through electronic means.
Training
- Attend quarterly staff meetings and professional development trainings.
- Report any incidents and communication from the parent to the Program Supervisor
- Submits Incident Reports within the same day of incident.
- Contact Program Supervisor and Human Resource Department prior to cancellations.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week

- 4 hour shift
- After school
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
