SW-MOTECH USA, the American arm of a global leader in the production of premium motorcycle luggage, carrier systems, and ergonomic and protective parts, is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented professional with deep knowledge of motorcycles to provide customer service, and secondarily to support sales and marketing.
SW-MOTECH USA successfully opened our doors 3 years ago and has just expanded our operation into a larger space near downtown Beaverton, OR. We have a small showroom on-site, but are not a focused retail establishment but instead support our comprehensive ecommerce business through sw-motech.us. We are a small, growing team and each wear several hats, we are poised for growth, expansion, and new opportunities.
We enjoy a dynamic work environment with a small staff of fun energetic avid motorcyclists of every market segment. SW-MOTECH USA is located in greater Portland near Nike headquarters and great motorcycle getaways.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Planning, monitoring and ongoing development of marketing activities in the US market.
• Maintaining and expanding the press network.
• Production of social media optimized content, including in front of the camera.
• Collaboration in the creation, monitoring and optimization of social ads in collaboration with SW-MOTECH HQ marketing team.
• Joint definition, monitoring and communication of KPIs with SW-MOTECH USA VP and HQ marketing.
• Coordination of advertising activities with internal and external partners.
• Maintaining and expanding the influencer network.
• Coordinating/planning annual events and event budget in collaboration with SW-MOTECH USA VP.
• Collaboration with an external marketing consultant.
• Assist at industry and customer events as assigned.
• Develop working knowledge of company ERP system and customer service processes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum three years related or equivalent work experience including press relations and media production.
• Affinity for social media and deep working knowledge of relevant platforms.
• General knowledge of motorcycle models and motorcycle luggage, parts, and accessories.
• Creativity.
• College degree preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English (primary language used in the workplace); Bilingual (German) a plus; not required.
• Excellent customer-oriented, intercultural communication skills.
• Experience working in varied teams.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Ability to resolve complex issues with minimum supervision, and make deadlines even under pressure.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage priorities with a structured work process.
• Effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Proficient in database systems and Microsoft office programs, especially Word, Excel, Teams, PPT.
