Director Custom Spaces In-Home Sales

Job description
A proven sales leader with a passion to win, drive results, compete and take risks in the strategy, growth and development for a team of outside sales design consultants in premium custom spaces. This position is responsible to grow our custom spaces market share and provide exceptional service in premium custom designs and organizational solutions for the whole home.

- Delivers premium custom spaces results and key performance indicators to continuously measure, evaluate and manage outside sales design consultant’s performance; i.e. sales, lead to sold conversion and customer net promoter surveys
- Works directly with Custom Spaces Market Managers on the strategy for growing sales and lead generation across the country with various tactics via new customer acquisition, trade, organizers, events, referral or other
- Aligns Custom Spaces Market Managers on the development and performance of the outside sales design consultants centered on the customer relationship, consultative selling, design expertise and excellent communication and follow-up through project completion
- Ensures in-home leads are maximized and effectively tracked and managed to ensure speed and closing ratios are met or exceeded
- Partners closely with Training to support all sales, design and product training
- Proactively attracts and plans for outside design consultant growth across key markets to expand our reach in premium custom spaces
- Collaborates and communicates regularly with Store Leadership, Director Custom Spaces In-Store Sales and Support Center partners to optimize the end to end customer experience and sales growth in premium custom spaces
- Works closely with Senior Vice President Stores and Director Custom Spaces In-Store Sales on strategy and actions to grow custom spaces through our stores, in the home and industry partners

- College degree required
- 10+ years regional or national sales experience with a proven track record of results and drive to win; custom closets and retail experience a plus
- Knowledge of the Custom Spaces and Storage & Organization market and passion for following trends in the industry
- Experience managing others including directing, evaluating, performance management and career development
- Strong knowledge of customer contact management and design tools; Salesforce experience strongly preferred
- Excellent relationship management and networking skills
- Ability to travel up to 30% a year, based on the business needs
- Must be at least 18 years of age
