Job description
Purpose:
The STAT MedEvac Aviation Department Check Airman is responsible for the training and examination of CEM pilots in accordance with the approved training program.
Responsibilities:
- Inform the Director of Training as to the results of each ground school or flight check.
- Ensure the standardization and adherence of all Federal Aviation Regulations, CEM and Administrator directives, policies and procedures.
- Conduct flight checks and ground schools as scheduled by the Director of Training.
- Assist in manpower requirements as needed to staff base sites.
- Complete all necessary training forms and company paperwork in a timely manner.
- Coordinate all training events through Director of Training for inclusion on weekly maintenance and training schedule.
