POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides general operational management, analysis, and training of departmental processes within Patient Access. Ensures efficient and appropriate utilization of operations, training, quality, and data management. Provides high level and efficient administrative support to the Patient Access Directors, as well as support when needed to the Patient Access Managers. Demonstrates competence, knowledge, skill and experience. Preserves the confidential nature of information and maintains and promotes cordial staff and guest relations. Assists in the development and management of the Patient Access operating and capital budget. Supports and maintains University Health’s policies, protocols, values and guest relations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma required and four year college degree in Business or Health Care Administration is preferred. Experience in Patient Access or healthcare administration is preferred. One year of supervisory experience preferred.
