Job description
Inventory Analyst Trainee (Hybrid- April 22nd Start date) As an Inventory Analyst Trainee, you will use qualitative and quantitative data to make recommendations on how much inventory to send to each location to support what customers want and when they want it, whether online or in stores. You will determine the inventory deployment strategy to get products to the right place at the right time to maximize sales, best leverage inventory ownership and minimize cost of shipping. You will learn to develop strong relationships with vendors to ensure full and on-time shipment and delivery to stores. *Start date: April 22nd* What’ll Do as an Inventory Analyst Trainee: • Review data to determine what's selling and what's not • Learn about allocation and localization (ex. why you wouldn't send puffer coats to a store in Florida) • Monthly Climate and Location Selling Recaps & Monthly Size Selling Recaps • Analyze Store Inventory Management Reports to make inventory allocation strategy recommendations and assure healthy and profitable inventory stock position • Analyze Omni Channel Reports to assure optimal inventory ownership across fulfillment networks (ecommerce fulfillment centers, stores, and other 3rd party fulfillment centers) and minimize cost of shipping • Observe the Inventory Analysts and help make strategic inventory deployment strategies This is You: • You know your way around a spreadsheet • You not only like to prove a point, you usually have data to back it up • Multi-tasking is your thing, but you're also extremely organized • You have a passion for products and love to learn about what customers want!
