Position Summary

As the Vice President of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategies and operations. Collaborating closely with the CFO and other key executives, you will take the lead on financing strategies, financial reporting, operations, and spearhead complex finance projects. This role, based in our Philadelphia corporate office, entails direct leadership over the finance team, including a Controller, Property Accountants, and Accounts Payable Associates, fostering strong collaboration across departments.

Primary Responsibilities

Oversee financial reporting, tracking, and budgeting for all entities within the group.
Lead the financial aspects of acquisitions, sales, and bank relations.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of tax returns for all group entities.
Contribute to debt structuring and lead finance-related projects.
Supervise the Finance and Accounting department, focusing on recruitment, training, and development.
Encourage a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering teamwork and leadership development.

Qualifications/Requirements

Deep commitment to our mission and values.
A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience. CPA certification is a plus.
Experience in personnel management and familiarity with property management accounting software (e.g., Rent Manager, Yardi).
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a hands-on work approach.
Strong leadership qualities, attention to detail, and a high level of integrity.

Preferred Skills

Experience in real estate development, acquisition, or property management.
Excellent time management, adaptability, and fast learning skills.
Effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Salary and Benefits

This role offers a salary range of $160,000 to $180,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
