Position Summary As a Revit Modeling Specialist at STERIS you will be responsible for creating Revit content (family objects, models, and templates) for Project Design deliverables. You will utilize Revit as the primary development tool for other downstream support functions and content including bu not limited to CAD, 3D Equipment Planning tools and immersive platforms.
This role is considered REMOTE, but may require occasional travel. Duties In this role, you will be the primary contributor driving Revit and BIM standards for Project Design Content that is directly used with customers in the design of Hospital Operating Rooms, Sterile Processing Departments, and GI environments. Additional duties and responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Collaborate with Advanced Visualization & Engineering Group in creating a standard workflow for content (CAD, Revit, 3D,) development and ongoing maintenance.
- Take direction on prioritization for content creation and meet set deadlines for content creation. Deadlines driven by customer need and support of the organization.
- Provide one/one mentoring of daily responsibilities and skills within group for cross functional multidisciplinary support.
- Work with engineering/R&D and marketing for source files to develop standard expectations.
- Develop engineering source files (STP files, etc.) into native Revit family objects (surgical ceiling components and capital equipment).
- Responsible for materials assignments, parametric details, artistry, and on Revit and 3D content.
- Primary contributor/owner of Revit/BIM standards for Project Design content and deliverables.
- Provide support as needed in completing layout drawings for hospital departments including but not limited to GI, SPD, OR, and ICU.
- Provide Quality Assurance for Configurable Ceiling Equipment RFAs from Equipment Designers
- Content supporting contributor to STERIS Architectural Portal website. (Hospital Equipment Planning Resources | STERIS Architect Portal)
- Travel as needed for ongoing training or customer support.
Required Experience Your expertise as a Revit Modeling Specialist will be key to being successful in this role. Additional experience, skills and abilities are as follows:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience Revit modeling with a Bachelors degree or in lieu of, 4+ years direct experience with a Technica/Associates/Revit Certified Professional Certification.
- Background/experience in architectural drafting and design.
- Knowledge and demonstrated understanding of drafting standards.
- Proficient in use of MS Office applications; Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word.
- Functional understanding of any of the following preferred; PRO-E, Navisworks, Inventor, 3D Studio Max, Unity 3D, and Unreal3D.
- Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Data base development / maintenance preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of healthcare planning philosophies and techniques, hospital design and Policies and Procedures.
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare applications and capital equipment.
- Demonstrate ability to develop and apply analytical approaches to assignments and to develop and implement solutions.
- Must be well organized and detail oriented.
- Above average written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate ability to select, train and develop entry-level personnel.
- Demonstrate ability to communicate with Architects, Consultants, Contractors and Customers on a professional level.

Pay range for this opportunity is $51,120.00 - $67,095.00.This position is eligible for annual bonus and merit program participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and long-term disability. Full-Time Employees are also eligible for short-term disability.
