Veterinarian opening in Harrisonburg, VA

Massanutten Animal Clinic is looking for a DVM to join our team. We are a wonderful hospital with long-time clients/patients, great local schools, and a friendly community. Most of our staff has been here for over 5 plus years and has lots to offer clinically.  Our mission statement at Massanutten Animal Clinic is for our team to provide compassionate care with respect and honesty for both clients and patients.  

*No on-call or overnight shifts.

About our hospital:

• 4 doctor, small animal practice (cats & dogs) 

• 5 licensed veterinary technicians and college-educated assistants

• Full-service facility

• Idexx- catalyst one, procyte, sedivue 

• Digital radiograph, digital dental radiograph

• Ultrasound equipment   

• New Anesthetic machines

• Dental Scaler/polisher

Massanutten Animal Clinic is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, Virginia 30 miles from Shenandoah National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway with access to the Appalachian Trail.  Lake Anna & Smith Mountain Lake within 2 hours, Washington D.C. approximately 3 hours away, Virginia Beach approximately 4 hours away.  Agricultural area with various farmers’ markets and access to rural settings.  The downtown area hosts many local restaurants and shops.  Great place to raise a family.  Lots of child-friendly activities and a children’s museum downtown.  Massanutten Resort with winter skiing and water park.  Located near James Madison University and Charlottesville & the University of Virginia is approximately 1 hour away.  Cost of living index 98 according to AreaVibes.

Skills and Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university

•  Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which the applicant is to be employed
