Job description
ABOUT THE ROLE
Use sophisticated skills to perform installation, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair of the automated packaging and distribution equipment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Maintain and trouble-shoot motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, tachs, etc. Maintain and repair distribution center racking.
Trouble-shoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all material handling equipment components.
Perform preventive/predictive maintenance of conveyance equipment using the appropriate job plans, procedures, and manuals.
Create and close work orders to include labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used into asset management system.
Track and store department inventory, including spare parts.
Assist with basic electronics/Programmable Logic Controls trouble-shooting
Handle additional duties as assigned.
