Job description

Saltys on Alki is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant available to work Mondays and Tuesdays, with flexibility for additional days and occasional weekends.

Mondays and Tuesdays are the regular working shifts. Availability to work other shifts and weekends as needed to fill in for co-workers who are out sick or on vacation required.

Ideal candidates should have experience in bookkeeping, Excel, cash handling, and preferably a restaurant background.

Work hours are typically 7am to 11-12pm on weekdays and starting at 6am on weekends.

Responsibilities include daily financial reconciliations, writing vendor checks, filing, and handling cash.

Must be proficient in Excel and cash management. This position requires availability for holiday shifts and potential fill-in hours on short notice.
