The successful canidate will generate ideas & create innovative concepts with good design for manufacturing principles applied to ensure a high level of feasibility and commercial success. They will successfully supported a project(s) from concept to commercialization
· Deliver on advanced sketching and visual communication skills in a most highly efficient manner.
· Develop and lead internal & external brainstorming sprints for any project while balancing strong opinions with multiple personality types.
· Advanced use of SolidWorks for 3D modeling and rendering of highly complex part geometries. Provide training to other designers.
· Expert level knowledge and use of KeyShot rendering.
· Work directly and independently with high profile/tier one clients at all phases of a project.
· Understanding of how to interpret qual. & quant. research results and apply it to an iterative stage of concept development.
· Effective project management of complex projects.
· Incorporate advanced knowledge of good design for manufacturing principles into packaging concepts.
· Professionally communicate, present and “sell” your ideas internally and externally at a very high energetic and story-telling level.
· Train and develop other designer’s core skill-sets.
· Act as an ambassador to effectively communicate the Blue Clover brand and power of design to both internal and external cross functional organizations.
· BS/BFA Degree in Industrial Design or equivalent product design experience.
· 4-7 years of Industrial Design experience.
· Strong team player with an exceptional positive attitude that sets an example for other team members.
· Possess a strong aesthetic sense with the ability to bring meaningful form to concepts.
· Strong skills in advanced design competencies: design research, sketching, concept ideation, concept development, problem-solving, and presenting.
· Create documentation necessary to convey design solutions as well as good communication skills.
· Advanced experience with SolidWorks 3D computer modeling and KeyShot rendering at all phases of a project.
· Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize conflicting deadlines.
· Advanced knowledge and application of good design for manufacturing principles.
