Job description
A wholesale business shipping frozen sorbets from Brazil and other super fruit sorbets. Looking for Warehouse associate,training to move up to managing shipping department. Duties are packing frozen products for shipping. Labeling paying attention to details and ensuring product and label is the same being shipped across the USA. Daily cleaning of warehouse before leaving. Learning products and how to pack them in different-sized boxes. Working in and out of a Cold storage freezer. Paying attention to details when packing, making sure the right product is shipped. Learning how to order boxes and ordering product, along with Monthly inventories. Monday - Wednesday packaging, adding dry ice and shipping out product. Thursday are pre-packing products for the following week. Fridays are restocking all the boxes used and cleaning up in front office.
Requirements
Able to lift 50 lbs. Able to be in and out of sub-zero freezer. Maintaining a clean warehouse. Using an electric pallet jack. Able to do simple math, add, subtract, and multiplying. Cutting Dry ice to place into shipping boxes.
