The Opportunity:
NetCentrics is seeking a dedicated Cloud Network Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OIT), Infrastructure Operations (IO), VA Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) Integrated Project Team (IPT). Infrastructure Operations has a requirement to migrate hardware, operating systems, applications, and other elements of its IT infrastructure from Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) to IPv6.
The migration will ensure the design and integration of IPv6 technology across VA on-premises core infrastructure, network operations, support desks, and security systems, as well as VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC) where applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Network Engineer's primary objective is to implement Networking and Security teams requirements for an IPv6 environment in Azure and AWS environments.
