Job description

We are seeking a self starter who loves gaming and knows how to develop, plan, execute marketing strategies and plans for multiple games and studios. Functions as a member of the Marketing team, providing guidance within the gaming industry. This position will be building go-to-market strategies and campaigns across all games under the Snail portfolio.

Responsibilities:

● As an Associate Marketing Manager, you will help to develop global marketing campaigns and ensure all brand marketing projects are supported by business strategy, objectives and insights.

● Work with our PR partners to create Press Kits and media alerts. Collaborate with the Development and Graphics team to gather or create necessary assets and information.

● Approve all materials before they are sent to the media.

● Communicate with marketing partners to execute and monitor paid campaigns effectively.

● Supervise the contracted Spanish Marketing Coordinator for reaching out to South American outlets and keeping up-to-date with the South American market.

● Analyze data and prepare reports and presentations to evaluate campaign performance.

● Stay updated with industry news and conduct competitive research to understand what our competitors are doing. This helps ensure that our product pages, marketing efforts, sales strategies, game features, and community management align with industry trends.

● Lead, mentor, and manage the rest of the team, providing guidance and support to team members.

● Review and approve all published posts, including patch notes, announcements, and assets to maintain consistent and accurate communication with the community

Qualifications:

● 3+ years experience in marketing, preferably in the gaming industry.

● Thorough understanding of marketing mix and KPIs.

● Experience analyzing data and managing financials.

● Ability to synthesize data and pull insights to create recommendations.

● Strong skills presenting in front of large groups.

● Highly organized, independent and detail oriented with strong follow up skills.

● Strong time management, planning and project execution skills.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid collaborative relationships.

● Strong PowerPoint creation and presentation skills, proficiency in Google Suite, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

● Ability to multitask.

● Team-oriented and works well with other people.

● Ability to work in a high performance, fast‐paced team environment.

● Possess a competitive and dexterous spirit; excellent editorial judgment; a ton of ideas and the ability to let those ideas go when they don’t work

Technical Requirements:

● Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Suite for efficient document and content management.

● Familiarity with Project Management Platforms to organize and monitor team tasks and projects effectively.

● Bilingual is a plus (Mandarin)

Compensation:

Salary Range: $82,000 to 90,000. Exact base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
