Job description
We are looking for a hygienist to grow with us as we revitalize and modernize a practice under new ownership. Dr. Kerri Smith recently took over the practice as Dr. Whipple retired. We are searching for someone who will take initiative to grow and develop our hygiene program, working closely with the doctor in developing and implementing protocols to ensure appropriate periodontal care.
The best candidate will be a quick learner , efficient in providing care, excited to be part of a growing organization, and enthusiastic about their role in maximizing patients’ oral health. He or she will be committed to their own professional development, appreciate opportunities to learn, and know they can positively contribute to the right team.
We use Dentrix software, digital sensors, and intraoral cameras. We have handheld and wall-mounted x-ray units, ultrasonic scalers, and digital patient forms. We will continue to add technology to better serve our patients and make our jobs easier and more efficient.
The current office schedule is 4 days per week, with an alternating schedule of a 4-day weekend every other weekend (working Mon-Thu one week and Tue-Fri the next), although we are flexible with the schedule for this position. We do not work evenings or weekends.
We are taking our time finding someone who will be a good long-term fit with our culture and vision. We are looking for someone who has the skills and motivation to drive growth in the practice. We will be flexible with hours, pay, and benefits for the right person.
Role Responsibilities
Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week
