Position Summary:
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Project Manager for the Institute of Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research. The Research Project Manager at the Center for Health Services Research serves as for multiple large, complex health services research studies involving longitudinal modeling of extremely large healthcare datasets in support of multiple research grants funded by NIH and other competitive funders. The incumbent will develop and implement statistical analyses and modeling of exposures, treatments, and healthcare outcomes, serving as a core member of investigative teams for several major health services research studies, and providing biostatistical expertise and support to investigative teams. The incumbent will provide biostatistical consultation and expertise to research teams; develop modeling approaches best suited to data and inferential challenges in making appropriate inferences to address study research questions and hypotheses; collaborate with faculty investigators in planning and implementing complex health services research analyses; implement research analyses of large healthcare datasets incorporating billions of records; designing and conducting statistical modeling of patient level outcomes and utilization; writing of journal articles reporting results, along with related project documents; and development of funding applications to extend current lines of research.
