We are seeking a Systems and Infrastructure Engineer positioning on deliver key experiences for our Corporate Communication team. We are looking for a highly motivated engineer who will be playing a crucial role in design and implementation of high performing systems and 3rd party integrations which are production ready to serve community and our associates.
What You'll Do:
Good understanding of hardware and software components and their interfaces to establish the framework for the development of a solution/product/platform.
Able to provide suggestions to for right-sizing IT resources to meet current and future business requirements in a cost-effective manner. Assist in creating capacity plans that covers current use.
Expert level understanding of incident management processes and procedures, with the ability to understand and capture key data from logs at an expert level to detect and determine symptom vs cause.
Deep technical understanding of core infrastructure, cloud services, platforms and micro-services.
Absorb knowledge and understand complex distributed systems - ability to share and impart this knowledge into your peer group and beyond.
Ensure systems and process to track revisions, solve integration conflicts in code, and manage different artifacts involved in software projects.
Ability to gather requirements and build solutions into a product.
Evangelize operational excellence.
What You'll Bring:
Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or a similar role, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Understanding about DNS, Certificates, Domain set up, Name Servers, Email Security, Virtual Machines, Cloud Infrastructure and Costing. General knowledge of database or data warehouse concepts.
Experience in Azure or GCP cloud environment.
Understanding of Linux OS Commands, Network protocols and usage of system diagnostic tools.
Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, cloud native technology, and CI/CD
Great analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude.
Ability to perform in a team environment, while multitasking between several different requirements and features concurrently.
Clear Communication, and good writing skills including the ability to create functional and technical requirements.
