A property technology software company, serving the residential and vacation property management industries, is seeking a Vice President of Operations. The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for supporting daily business activities, developing and implementing effective business strategies and programs, and ensuring support of the company’s strategic top-line growth efforts. The successful executive will maintain relationships with clients and vendors, enhance the organization’s brand and reputation, follow compliance protocols, develop a highly driven team of professionals, and achieve growth objectives. It is preferred that the Vice President of Operations be located at the company headquarters. However, non-local candidates will be considered for the role with required travel. This is a retained search.
Responsibilities: - Successfully maintain the organization’s profit and loss statement, analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and cost optimization.
- Identify areas for process improvement, implement best practices and drive operational excellence throughout the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and clients, ensuring effective negotiation, contract management and service level agreements.
- Develop key performance indicators and metrics to monitor operational performance.
- Implement systems to track and analyze data for continuous improvement.
- Participate in the acquisition and integration of acquired businesses.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of property insurance experience, including operations and proven sales experience
- Proficiency in profit and loss, financial analysis, and forecasting
- Leadership experience, including managing diverse teams
- Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
- Insurance license or willingness to obtain one in the first 90 days of employment
