Posting Date: Job Schedule: Locations: Degree Level: Job Description: What We Are Looking For The Museum Events Coordinator will coordinate logistics for all building reservations. The position seeks to support the mission of the museum by connecting the Mayborn Museum to Baylor University and to the greater Waco community while providing distinctive customer service.
A Bachelor's degree, two years of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required. A Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant work experience are preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
*Some weekend and holiday work will be required.
*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do - Assist in museum related communications and serve as a first point of contact for museum customer inquiries. Includes fielding general customer phone calls and emails related to building reservation inquires.
- Maintain museum events calendar, events reservation policies and procedures, and event related financial transactions.
- Coordinate logistics, including physical setup and tear down, and communication flow for Mayborn Museum building reservations.
- Perform lifting, sitting, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, etc. as needed.
- Support all Museum event-related technology needs.
- Support museum non-exhibit technology.
- Work on projects and assignments with the Facilities and Collections team.
- Achieve 50 hours of professional development each year. These hours may include any required Baylor training sessions, online trainings required by the Mayborn Museum director, First Tuesday Coffee and FYI Presentations, and professional conferences.
- Ensure the Mayborn Museum has a positive reputation in the Baylor/Waco community.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
- Ability to comply with university policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
