Job Summary:
The Information Systems Manager will help the organization to utilize computer technology proficiently and effectively. This role works in close coordination with the Leadership Team and the Technology Services Department.
The Information Systems Manager will become proficient with certain types of computer systems, including industry-specific technology for the Homebuilding and Development industries. The Information Systems Manager is responsible for using their knowledge of software programs and business strategies to help companies maximize productivity and communication.
The Information Systems Manager will work closely with the Leadership Team and Technology Services Department in analyzing and auditing existing systems to identify areas for improvement and best user practices. This role will analyze current business processes and make recommendations based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- The Information Systems Manager will inspect work products for accuracy and adherence to design standards. The Manager recognizes best practices and offers employees technical support.
- Analyze and audit existing systems to identify and assess user needs and areas for improvement.
- Work directly with software vendors to determine the needs of the organization and how to support them.
- Oversee implementation projects from beginning to completion.
- The job involves troubleshooting any issues related to software programs and applications related to information technology.
- Oversee training and operational procedures within the business to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure that all systems processes and programs are carefully documented for best practices.
- Work with Department Heads to ensure all staff are properly trained on best practices within each application.
- Coordinate Software Updates with Leadership Team and Technology Services Department
- Work with Department Heads to identify bugs and inefficiencies within existing systems and work with Vendors to ensure timely responses and fixes.
- Work with Leadership Team and Technology Services Department to ensure requests/needs are properly documented and handled in a timely fashion for user interface improvement.

Education and Experience:
Information Systems Manager must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or at least five years’ working experience in a related field.
