About the role:
This role is responsible for evaluating training needs of the service team, crafting, and delivering a training development plan complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources such as online modules and guides. This role is also to identify, collect, synthesize, coordinate, and manage interpersonal knowledge in support of business units across the enterprise. This role is also responsible for building and prioritizing the service teams assets in knowledge bases.
- Accumulate, understand, and seek to understand knowledge about the service teams’ work.
- Build outstanding knowledge and training materials for the service team. This includes the creation of virtual classroom and traditional classroom training, SOPs, and standard statements that maximize the experience for our customers and consumers.
- Collaborate with function leadership and supporting service groups to coordinate onboarding and deliver training material.
- Work across the organization to evaluate efficiency of existing materials, guides, and resources with a continuous improvement mindset for bettering the experience for the customer and consumer.
- Collaborate with the service team and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to update SOPs and standard statements on a recurring schedule.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Adult Education, or related field required
- 3+ years training and/or knowledge management experience, including facilitation and design of instructor-led and eLearning content and crafting knowledge bases and documents
Additional Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in a corporate/call center training environment
- Ability to synthesize and explain technical subjects to a non-technical audience
- Expertise in the development, delivery, and evaluation of training initiatives to support ongoing improvements
- Ability to translate business processes, procedures, policies, and product information into a clear and easy to understand format
- Experience in building and maintaining a knowledge base tool
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop training and methodology programs
- Professional certification in or strong familiarity with adult learning, current training and development practices, and learning technologies
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $60,400.00 - $75,500.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:
- Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
- Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
- Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
- Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
- Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
- Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
