Job description

WORK LOCATION: Onsite location in Washington, D.C. 

WORK SCHEDULE : 8-9 hours per day, may include weekends

JOB STATUS: Full-time, Temporary

JOB DURATION: 5 days

Objective

The Receptionist is expected to greet and check in participants following our registration process. Receptionists will be responsible for initial onsite participant communications. The receptionist will report to the Project Manager and Project Coordinator. Training will be provided before the start of data collection. Sessions occur in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities:

●      Welcome participants to the job location.

●      Instruct and support participants throughout their time at the job location

●      Track participant appointments.

●      Ensure participants’ satisfaction

●      Foresee logistic challenges and solve them proactively

●      Report and escalate to management as needed

●      Track data in spreadsheets using Google Sheet/Excel experience

●      Coordinate project activities with team members as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

●      1-2 years of work experience in customer service for the food, retail or hospitality industry.

●      Exceptional customer service experience and skills.

●      Able to commit to a weekly schedule for the duration of the project.

●      Ability to interact professionally with project participants and customer teams.

●      Experience with progress tracking and reporting, comfortable with Sheets/Excel.

●      Excellent verbal and written communication.

●      Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail.
