Candidate requirements
Job specification - Assess and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, ensuring their understanding and comfort.
- Administer medications and intravenous lines as prescribed, closely monitoring vital signs.
- Assist the cardiologist or interventionalist during catheterization procedures, including monitoring patient hemodynamics and providing necessary supplies.
- Operate specialized equipment, such as fluoroscopy machines and angiography equipment, ensuring patient safety and image quality.
- Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, ECG readings, and hemodynamic parameters during procedures and provide post-procedure care, including monitoring patients in the recovery area.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, interventionalists, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Candidate requirements - Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution
- An Active California Registered Nurse License
- 1 year of Nursing experience
- Basic Life Support by American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
