Schedule for the Dental Assistant
Monday: 6:30AM - 3:00PM
Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30AM - 6:30PM
Friday & Saturday: 6:30AM - 4:00PM*
*Friday and Saturday shifts alternate weekly
Requirements and Responsibilities for the Dental Assistant
2 years of dental assisting experience required
Eaglesoft experience preferred
Chairside assistance for restorative, cosmetic, surgical, prosthodontic, and endodontic procedures
Thorough patient and treatment area preparation
Maintain a clean and sterilized space for the dentist during treatment
Responsible management and care of dental materials and instruments
Strict adherence to sterilization protocols for treatment rooms, materials, and equipment.
Proficiency in capturing various digital x-rays (3D, Panoramic, FMX, Bitewing, Periapical) and clear intra-oral images.
Active involvement in procedural checklists, scanning, and reporting.
Patient education on dental procedures to promote informed decisions.
Supervision of patients using Nitrous Oxide, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Consistent instrument sterilization throughout the day to maintain hygiene standards.
Appointment scheduling for patient follow-up visits.
Preparation and participation in morning huddles to streamline daily operations.
Accurate coding of procedures and comprehensive chart notes.
Contribution to inventory management, lab coordination, and day-to-day tasks.
Effective time management skills to optimize productivity.
Communication via walkie-talkie for prompt updates and changes.
Skillful use of Sirona CEREC OmniCam for full arch scans (Training Provided).
Precise tracking of patients' lab work to ensure seamless care.
Responsible handoff of patients to clinicians and treatment coordinators.
Participation in same-day procedures (Training Provided).
Active involvement in monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings and reports.
Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Possess great teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills
