Job Summary
The Lead Financial Analyst will collaborate with the Client's manufacturing operations management on important strategic initiatives. This job will work with senior leadership to manage a team of financial analysts within the operations business unit in implementing Key Performance Indicators, leveraging and enhancing current metrics, and detecting business trends through relevant measurement and analysis. This job will also research past expenditure trends, assess various scenarios, and assist the business team in understanding potential trade-offs. Furthermore, equipping the team with the tools they need to predict well in the short, mid, and long term will be crucial. This role offers several opportunities for direct financial effect as well as indirect influence over procedures and policy.
Duties And Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Collaborates with the factory operations team to offer scalable business solutions relating to planning and budgeting.
- Lead a team of Financial Analysts within manufacturing operations and supply chain to provide financial forecast and performance, actively participate in cross-functional meetings, and provide essential information and papers to top management.
- Participates in preparing yearly financial budgets and updating financial estimates as needed to track project performance and prognosis.
- Prepares actual to budget/forecast variance analysis including identification of headcount, operating, outsourcing and expense savings opportunities, and provides actionable recommendations to manufacturing operations leadership as well as identification of potential risks, meanwhile encouraging accountability for achieving forecasted/plan results
- Performs ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
- Conduct sensitivity analyses around important assumptions to offer insight on potential outcomes.
- Conducts monthly evaluations, giving financial insights to key drivers of change and ensuring outcomes are clearly understood by decision-makers.
- Acts as a link between the business team and the accounting department, ensuring transactions are properly accounted for in the financials.
- Informs, manages, and verifies report tools for industrial leadership analysis.
- Working on numerous projects at once, this job will focus on the minutiae while also taking on high level/big picture difficulties.
- Prepare, manage, and improve important insights coming from KPIs developed together with manufacturing operations and financial leadership.

- Capable at creating detailed financial predictions and effectively communicating financial data. Proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience in financial analysis; including demonstrated leadership experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, accounting concepts knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to operate in a cross-functional, fast-paced workplace and push operational initiatives.
- Ability to take command, create goals, lead by influence, and drive outcomes.
