Job Summary:

The Senior Contracts Manager will be responsible for leading and growing a team, managing, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and modifying contract documentation, and also providing general support to the Director/Vice President of Contracts. The successful candidate will have a strong business acumen, possess strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

This is an in-person position.

This position's internal job code is Contract Management Specialist. Our team is currently hiring for level K.

Responsibilities:

Interfacing with customers and business partners
Conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration within a portfolio of programs
Proposal preparation: examining proposal requirements, analyzing terms and conditions to evaluate risk, review -Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for accuracy and completeness to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications
Contract administration: processing contractual documentation and reports, advising management of contractual rights and obligations, compilation and analyses of data and maintenance of historical information
Facilitating proper shipment, billing, and payment collection for deliveries and interfacing with DCMA and DCAA as required
Preparing weekly and monthly reports and maintenance of assigned contracts
Duties may also include the preparation of proprietary information agreements, teaming agreements, export licenses/agreements and various types of memoranda
Understand and interpret FAR/DFARS guidelines to specific contract types
Interface and support with the objectives of Legal Counsel, Security, Trade Compliance, Manufacturing, Program Office, Engineering (REAs), Program Controls, Supply Chain and Quality/Mission Assurance
Manage and review the work of other Contract Administrators
Other job duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or related field
7 plus years of US Government customer interface with prime or sub-experience across large multi-million and billion-dollar programs
5 plus years of leadership of prime or subcontracts organizations with 3 or more direct reports
5 plus years of experience with FAR/DFARS and/or intelligence community policies

Preferred Qualifications

10 plus years of contracts management, subcontract management, paralegal, or other comparable experience
Master's degree, Juris Doctor, Paralegal certification or NCMA certification
Ideal Candidate will have prior (IC) intelligence community experience
Thrives in a fast-paced, intense working environment, is adaptable and able to pivot
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Exhibits a growth mindset and continually enhances their skill set through ongoing professional development

Summary Pay-Range

Level K: $123,250 - $181,250
