To learn more about us, please seeUnder the general direction of the Supervising Tax Auditor (STA) II, the Business Taxes Specialist (BTS) I is responsible for reviewing the work of professional staff and complex cases, as well as working independently and completing special projects of the most complex nature and assisting staff at all levels in the Branch. The incumbent acts as a Lead on large complex projects and assumes responsibility for completion of work. The incumbent is responsible for evaluating issues, law and information maintained in the System. The BTS I is responsible for answering questions of management, other California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) units, local jurisdictions and their representatives, and other State agencies.
