The Wachusett Brew Yard (Westminster and Worcester) is looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, craft beer enthusiast with strong people skills to join our team. This can be year-round or a seasonal position.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Brew Yard Ambassador, you will be in a frontline customer interaction role that is key to providing each visitor to the brewery with a positive experience. We are busy all year, and our friendly team works hard to make every guest feel welcome. If you have a passion for craft beer and enjoy people, this is the job for you.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Represent Wachusett Brewing Company brand proudly in our Brew Yard and to our fans
• Greeting visitors and checking identification in order to verify age of 21
• Pouring Wachusett productions
• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each customer
• Have a working knowledge of craft beer, specifically Wachusett beers
• Be able to discuss beers and food options with customers
• Perform growler and can filling duties
• Keep Brew Yard clean at all times
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and be able to account for all discrepancies in the final cash drawer tally.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

• Knowledge of draught equipment
• Reliable with strong interpersonal skills
• TIPs Certified
• Ability to lift between 25 and 50 lbs.
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
