CX Americas, US Public Sector Advanced Services delivers innovative, end to end, optimized networking and architecture solutions to public sector IT leaders who are accelerating their mission by transforming their IT. Serving the U.S. Federal government, state and local governments, education, and publicly funded healthcare, we provide senior technical expertise, deep knowledge of the public sector domain, and a strong commitment to the missions of this unique group of customers.
This position is for a Customer Project Manager who will be accountable and responsible in leading short- and long-term projects for our customers. The main projects will be focused on our solutions from our SLED portfolios. Customers will be geographically dispersed throughout the US and some travel may be required. In this role, you will be "Cisco's face to the customer" working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment as a visible contributor delivering on our commitments. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, comfortable with challenging the status quo and able to rapidly respond to escalated issues. With a a top-tier mix of broad networking knowledge and specific area expertise, as well as excellent customer relationship skills, you're well positioned to become a trusted advisor capable of building solid, long-term relationships with customers.
Responsibilities Include:
· Plan, execute and close projects successfully for our customers while handling scope, timelines, financials, communications and other activities necessary for successful project management
· Manage internal and external expectations and communications regarding delivery, performance and customer happiness
· Demonstrate excellent communications capabilities, business insight and resource management without functional authority

The SLED East PMO is comprised of geographically dispersed Project & Program Managers that handle challenging demands from internal and external partners while still being able to deliver successful projects in-scope and within budget. They drive focus on the tactical activities but can also see the overall strategic objectives of the customer and how it fits into the larger picture. They have extraordinary communications skills with strong capabilities in project management to drive team members to success.
