This position supports the mission of Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare and the Finance division by assisting with the operation of financial systems (including, but not limited to cost accounting, report distribution, budget, and labor management applications). This position reports to the Budget Manager within the Financial Planning and Analysis department. The position helps to establish, plan, and administer the overall policies and goals leading to the successful planning, execution, implementation, acceptance, and support of critical enterprise-wide financial system initiatives. Job Duties
- Provides monthly financial and statistical reports to Leadership. Compiles and verifies data in a timely manner. Provides support in interpretation and utilization of reports.
- Assists in the support of productivity planning.
- Oversees collection of financial/statistical/payroll/benchmark data necessary for labor management.
- Provides support to Leadership in interpreting productivity outcomes.
- Assists in the maintenance of the organization’s cost accounting system to include monthly costing, cost studies, loading of data, and reporting.
- As required, assists business plan support.
- Serves as internal consultant to TMH Leadership to analyze information needs and assist with system design and implementation of financial applications.
- Trains and troubleshoots users on various financial applications and components.
- Facilitates the integration of statistical and financial information to various financial applications.
- Assists in the preparation and implementation of the organization’s operating budget.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or health care administration
Required Experience:
- Three (3) years of healthcare finance or operations experience
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in labor management.
- Experience in health care accounting.
- Experience in various forms or financial applications and analysis, development, and management of relational databases and decision support systems.
- Extensive knowledge of multiple reporting tools. Working knowledge of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls.
- Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and other appropriate software skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to apply complex accounting principles. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities independently.
