We are looking for a
Networks SME to join our team, however broad knowledge of all major topics is critical. The ideal candidate will have
5-7 years of experience with a Financial Services Firm , Technology vendor or systems integrator designing, and implementing large scale networks. Ability to work both independently and as a team member is essential. Strong presentation skills are imperative to be able to explain network design, articulate risk, and facilitate decision making.
Strong security focus and experience with Network Security Concepts and Mulit-tier Security architectures .
Technical Skills Required:
Ethernet technologies:
STP, 02.1Q, VCP, Mutilayer Switching; Leaf-Spine IP Fabric IP Routing:
RIP, OSPF, BGP, MPBGP, TCP/IP Multicast routing:
PIM, IGMP, MSDP VLAN
Cisco Switching and routing platforms:
Nexus 9000 Series Data Center Switching platforms
Arista Switching platforms
Knowledge on Arista Working knowledge on various Network OS:
Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, IOS-XR, Arista EOS Familiarity with Firewall platforms:
Fortinet and Palo Alto Administration of network hardware, virtualization, and routing across multiple environments.
Familiarity with JIRA for project and task management, specifically work in
Agile-Kanban .
Skills Desired:
Ability to use Microsoft applications such as Viso, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Proficient in UNIX or Linux Certifications: CCIE or equivalent Experience with scripting/automation using
Python/Ansible is a strong plus .
Must be a person who can independently identify and independently build automation of any repetitive work.
Tools:
Wireshark, Infoblox, HPNA, Splunk, Sevone, Ansible is a plus
Working knowledge on
SDN, SDWAN, DMVPN Sound knowledge in public cloud,
Kubernetes , storage of IP and
VMWare Strong sense of security concept include defense in depth, zero trust networking, least privilege principle, risks and controls
Experience in driving enterprise level initiatives working with senior stakeholders across regions and cultures.
