Job description
SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Technical Associate for its client in Sumter, SC . The person will be responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining production equipment to meet targets and uphold quality standards while minimizing downtime and waste
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate equipment within specified quality/quantity limits, demonstrating detailed operational knowledge.
- Prepare and troubleshoot equipment to meet defined standards, consulting supervisors or Engineering to resolve any deviations.
- Ensure equipment upkeep to guarantee product quality and quantity, making adjustments, resolving issues, and conducting cleaning and repairs as needed.
- Document equipment downtime and maintenance issues in logbooks with legible and clear handwriting.
- Provide support in equipment repairs within personal capabilities and promptly notify supervisors of major issues, assisting the Maintenance Department as required.
- Perform preventative maintenance as per plant program or operational needs for smooth functioning.
- Start-up equipment, monitor inventory, ensure safety guards are functional, and troubleshoot issues like component jams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical and manufacturing.
- Flexible availability to work any shift, including 12-hour night or 8-hour night shifts.
