Job description
We are looking for an attorney who has a passion for helping families create their legacy through estate planning while protecting their children and their assets. We are looking for an attorney with the experience and maturity to run a full caseload of estate planning and who has the empathy and compassion to give our clients outstanding representation. Our firm exclusively puts families first! We have pivoted and now focus on estate planning and probate.
Responsibilities:
- Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on the local, state, and federal levels
- Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions
- Conduct client meetings and recommend strategies.
- Demonstrate experience in taking ownership of a client's case and delivering high-quality, timely work products – Revocable Living Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney.
- Delegate work to paralegals and legal assistants and monitor their work.
Qualifications:
- Four-year bachelor’s degree and successful completion of law school from an accredited law school
- Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills are desired, as are exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
- Active member in good standing with local and state bar associations
- Previous experience advocating for clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration
- We need an attorney who can contribute to developing the strategy of a case and who knows where to find the rules of procedure to back up that case strategy.
- We need an attorney who knows how to navigate Probate and Estate Planning, has the experience, and can project confidence and competence when dealing with clients.

- Skills and experience are important and valued, but your personality, character, intelligence, and integrity are also extremely important considerations.

- We are growing, and you may be called upon to wear many hats. We need someone who does not think that the occasional need to scan your own documents is “beneath you."
- Five years of experience as an Estate Planning Senior Associate.
