Job description

Our customer in the Troy, MI aarea is seeking a Electrical Engineer   to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Salary/Pay: Negotiable and dependent on experience
Status: Direct Hire - Full Time Opportunity

Our customer is a global company providing assembly and automation equipment to the manufacturing and automotive industries. 

Our customer seeks to reinforce the existing electric design team at the North American headquarters. The position will be responsible for creation of electric wire diagrams and panel layout,
for all machines inside the their portfolio. This position supports the Engineering team and the Electric Assembly team in house. Duties will also include cost analysis for pre-engineering and support for the creation of technical manuals. He/she will report to the Engineering Manager.

The successful candidate will have the following characteristics:
• Proven experience in design of electric diagrams in compliance with JIC and IEC/EN standards.
• Applied knowledge in E-Plan, E3 and AutoCAD
• Strong background in complex automated machines.
• Partner with Controls Engineers and Electricians.
• Travel inside and outside the US for max of 5% of the time on training.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working in an interdisciplinary team. Programming experience is considered an asset. A
