Job description
A key member of the Marketing team, the Customer Marketing Manager is a revenue-centric marketer who will increase customer satisfaction through engaging marketing campaigns and use it to leverage business success. The position directly benefits the customer success and marketing teams by increasing customer advocacy (including referrals, written and video testimonials, references), identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, and increasing loyalty and retention.

What Will You Be Doing?
Assist the customer success managers with building rapport with customers to increase renewals, referrals, and cross-sell and upsell opportunities
Lead and manage customer engagement and communication programs, such as in-person/virtual events, workshops, annual conferences, awards programs, onboarding and ongoing nurture campaigns
Assist the customer success managers with connecting with customers to ensure continued education and success throughout the relationship lifecycle
Identifying key customers that can act as a marketing channel through case studies, speaking opportunities, etc.
Help marketing and customer success meet business objectives through customer advocacy initiatives
Tactical responsibilities:
Compose and send customer emails
Manage and maintain engagement and advocacy programs; continually recruit new customer advocates
Manage a library of up-to-date customer success stories
Manage annual/biannual/quarterly customer satisfaction surveys to drive change throughout the organization
Develop a customer lifecycle campaign program and work within the marketing team to implement
Create special marketing content for customer success to help at-risk customers with training
Target happy customers for upsell, cross-sell, and advocacy opportunities
Provide product feedback given by advocates to the Product team
What Will You Bring To The Team?
2+ years of professional marketing experience, spanning roles in Customer Service, Customer Success, Account Management, and/or Customer Marketing
- You are a customer insight enthusiast, with experience in user research, NPS optimization, or using data to drive product led growth
- Strong passion for serving and understanding customers
- You have experience using Salesforce and other automation tools
- You excel in building and growing relationships with both customers
- You can utilize various communication channels, such as Salesforce email nurtures, in-product messaging, and customer-led webinars
- Proven experience creating and executing marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and advocacy
- Must be a self-starter who excels at multitasking and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create effective copy and presentations; graphic design capabilities are a plus
