Lumber Yard Worker

Position Overview

Daily duties for our Lumber Yard Workers include sorting and racking lumber according to its grade markings and size, handling stocks, freight and other materials, reading special order forms from co-workers, reading and following work schedule, and understanding the standard operating procedures of the company.

They often work with forklift equipment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Any prior forklift or other commercial vehicle experience and licensing is considered a plus
• Read and understand the standard operating procedures
• Able to multi task and work under pressure
• Able to lift 80lbs +
• Team player
