What You Will Do
The live Disney Characters represent the heart of The Walt Disney Company and embody the Disney brand. Our Team guides partners across the globe on the use and presentation of the Disney Characters, ensuring that every appearance around the world, is memorable, magical, and brand enhancing. This role will also assist the Character Costume Documentation team with projects, as needed.
Organize and track brand related queries and conversations
Assist the Brand Manager in research to develop Brand Guidelines
Assist Leadership in support of DE&I initiatives
Understand relationships with key partners and support Leadership as needed
Participate in the creation and maintenance of Character documentation materials.
Assist in the organization and cataloging of Character photo and documentation content
Required Qualifications & Skills
Demonstrate strong written and organizational skills
Experience with the Disney Brand and/or Disney Entertainment
Ability to handle multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail
Experience with content layout
Trusted in handling confidential information
Computer proficiency and eagerness to learn new software
Personable with shown ability to build relationships
Preferred Qualifications
Multi-lingual OR Bi-lingual Spanish/English
Understanding of the production process for developing live entertainment offerings
Education
Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior or recent graduate or graduate level student pursuing a degree in Theatre, Creative Writing, Hospitality, Marketing, and/or Entertainment Management
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
Available to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship
Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando Florida area and have reliable transportation to/from work

The approximate dates of this internship are June 2024 through January 2025
