The Children’s Medical Center PA is a privately owned Pediatric practice located in the Upstate of South Carolina. Spread throughout Greenville and Anderson County are five locations that offer an inviting atmosphere for patients and families. We are a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) certified and are committed to improving the health of our communities. In addition to a team of Pediatricians and Mid-Levels, we have one part-time psychiatrist and a team of licensed counselors to partner and address the needs of our population. 

Position Summary: 

The Children’s Medical Center PA is seeking a full-time Pediatrician that will be based in one of the five locations within the Greenville or Anderson County area. This candidate will be responsible for providing evidence-based, compassionate care to patients through their ability to assess, investigate, communicate, and evaluate patient conditions. The Pediatrician will perform laboratory testing, implement treatment plans monitor population health, prescribe medications, and participate in quality initiatives. As a Pediatrician, this member will be expected to provide exceptional care and possess an ownership mentality that is evident in their passion to close gaps in our local communities. 

Responsibilities:

• Acts as consultant/collaborator to clinical team on area of specialty. Complies with patient confidentiality requirements. Promotes patient advocacy. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals.
• Assumes call when needed, willing to work the Saturday morning sick clinic when needed, and performs other duties as assigned.
• Strong interpersonal, and communication skills with families, patients, colleagues, nursing and administrative staff, and practice leadership. 
• A high-level of problem solving and analytical ability. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism while under stress and tight timelines. 
• Ability to maintain continuing medical education (CME) requirements and up to date on latest studies and best practices. 
• Will participate in the on-call schedule rotation. 

Licensing/Certification:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) graduate from an accredited program
• Current state medical license and board certification in pediatrics

Experience:

Two year’s as a practicing Pediatrician in private practice setting Preferred
