Assistant Merchant Trainee (Hybrid - April 22nd Start date) As an Assistant Merchant Trainee, you will assist the merchandising team in analyzing the business, learning to drive key pricing and marketing processes while providing operational support. You will report into the Merchandise Manager. *Start date: April 22nd* What You’ll Do as an Assistant Merchant Trainee: • Analyze the line of business you are working in by generating weekly reporting and reviewing + interpreting that reporting to determine what happened + why it happened • Own pricing & signing execution & in-season maintenance, markdown execution, and debit processing • Participate in marketing conversations -- ensuring we come across to the customer in a way that supports our product strategies, while learning how to execute sample turn in for photo shoots, advertising proofing and digital experience reviews • Actively engage in competitive shopping + recap your team -- analyzing trends, pricing + marketing in the marketplace from our key competitors This is You: • You prefer to work with a team vs. alone - you love people! • You know your way around a spreadsheet • You not only like to prove a point, you usually have data to back it up • Multi-tasking is your thing, but you're also extremely organized • You have a passion for products and love to learn about what customers want!
