Job Title: Workday HCM Consultant
Job Type: W2 Salary
Job Location: Remote with some travel
Compensation: $125,000 - $155,000 plus bonus and benefits

Job Overview: We seek an experienced, hardworking, innovative, and collaborative Workday HCM Consultant to join our Workday Implementation Practice. In this role, you will ensure the successful implementation of the Workday HR solutions with customers through product and implementation expertise, ensuring efficient and effective delivery. The ideal candidate for this position should have extensive experience implementing or supporting HRIS systems, requirements capturing, configuration, data conversion, and testing. Seeking detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented candidate, able to partner with customers and project teams successfully.
Responsibilities: - Administer and maintain the Workday HCM system, ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations, for each client.
- Configure and update system setting to meet the organization's evolving needs.
- Assist in implementing and integrating new HR modules and features within Workday.
- During implementation engagements:
- Understand client business requirements;
- Configure the Workday solution;
- Demonstrate the configurations by developing prototype systems; and
- Assist the client in testing the Workday solution.
- Work with clients to help convert legacy data into Workday.
- Assist the Integration team to configure and test integrations between Workday and third-party/custom solutions.
- Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and consistently utilize in engagements.
- Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday’s proven solutions.
- Mentor and share product knowledge with other consultants.
Requirements:
- Workday Certification in and mastery of at least two modules in the Workday product suite (HCM Core, Compensation, Onboarding, Benefits, Absences and Time Tracking, Talent, or Recruiting)
- 3-5 years implementation experience in at least two of the following HCM solutions: HCM Core, Compensation, Onboarding, Benefits, Absences and Time Tracking, Talent, or Recruiting.
- Public Sector (local, state, federal, higher ed) experienceProficient in HR processes, data analytics, and system configuration
- Previous ERP/implementation consulting experience with a consulting/software company
- Proven ability in business analysis and requirements-gathering.
- Proven ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Remain updated with the latest Workday updates and HR technology trends.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
