Entry Level Field Service Engineer - Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics
$70,000 Annually + Overtime Pay + Great Benefits Package -- Mentor, OH

IDEAL CANDIDATES
Recently graduated with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or similar.
Coursework in Power Electronics, AC & DC Power Control/Conversion and/or transformers.
Desire to travel North America about 50% to 75% of the time after the training period.

As an Entry Level Field Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the installation, service, and maintenance of cutting-edge industrial control applications. This opportunity offers a chance to work with a global presence while contributing to US-based engineering designs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Field Service Support:
Execute on-site installation, service, repair, and troubleshooting of SCR Power Controllers, Transformers, and packaged Power Systems, as well as Specialty AC and DC Drive Products and Systems with custom hardware and software.
Conduct thorough tests and start-ups to ensure the optimal functioning of products and systems.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Systems Testing:
Support hardware and software design verification during the manufacturing process.
Ensure adherence to test plans and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing procedures.
Communication and Collaboration:
Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, colleagues, and management.
Provide technical assistance to customers and internal teams, sharing insights and recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology is required.
Coursework in Power Electronics is highly beneficial.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Travel may range from 50% to 75%, primarily within the US with occasional trips to Mexico and Canada.
Occasional international assignments; ability to obtain a US Passport is required.
Company covers travel expenses, including flights, accommodation, and meals.
Mileage is reimbursed if personal car is used, or a rental car can be provided with gas expenses covered.
RATE AND BENEFITS
Annual Salary: $70,000 ++, with a flat rate for all overtime hours worked.
