Come join our Ocala, Florida team as a Branch Manager! You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our branch which is affiliated with a high-producing independent real estate brokerage office. You will assist buyers and sellers during a real estate sale, managing funds and processing real estate transactions. You will ensure employee conformance to established practices and proper training of staff, prepare related reports, and audit current procedures to monitor the efficiency of operations.
Finally, you will manage and implement processes and policies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct property search to check for real estate title defects or issues, such as claims, liens, mortgages, deeds, wills, or fraud
- Issue title policy and transfer title ownership after reviewing all closing documents to ensure title commitments have been satisfied and preparing a closing statement
- Facilitate title search and prepare title abstract and title opinion
- Work alongside a variety of industry professionals such as real estate agents, title insurance agents, escrow officers, closing agents, settlement agents, law firms, paralegals, and escrow companies throughout the closing process
- Analyze liens, plat books, contracts, agreements, surveys, maps, public records, and leases to verify ownership, legal description, and restrictions
Essential Functions
- Responsible for directing or managing the day-to-day operations of a title branch
- Aligns branch goals with business unit goals. Monitors branch metrics, reporting information to ownership and provides recommendations for process/policy change based on branch results
- Maintains existing client base and resolves escalated issues. Answers questions and provides guidance regarding products, services, policies or specific transactions
- Implements processes and supervises the day to day activities of employees responsible for daily operational tasks
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will be process-driven, highly analytical and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Range Of Experience: 2+ years of directly related experience
- A current Florida title license is required
- Strong process skills required
- Detail oriented
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead/seek out for advice; Supervisory and administrative skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Customer service focused - responds promptly to customer needs and solicits customer feedback to improve service
