National Grid is hiring a Senior Engineer, Electric Asset Management for its Transmission Asset Management NE division in Waltham, Massachusetts. This is a hybrid position (MA, RI, NH) with office visits 1-2 times per week. sometimes more, plus storm duty. US Colleagues must reside within our existing footprint, which includes contiguous states (Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont).

Job Purpose

An Asset Management Engineer develops strategies/plans and oversees their execution to enable National Grid to maintain or improve reliability and optimize the return on investment from the assets related to electrical transmission in New England (typically greater than 69 kV).

The successful candidate will have knowledge of electric transmission assets as well as compliance obligations around the proper classification of these assets (based on NERC, NPCC, Regional and Local requirements), which ultimately drive facility design characteristics, asset tracking and reporting. Engineer level/title will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s level of education, experience and knowledge.

Salary : $114,000 - $134,000
