Job description
SDSU Academic Shared Service Center (ASSC) is seeking a motivated self-starter who likes numbers to join our team as a Financial Program Assistant. The ASSC serves four colleges, College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, College of Education & Human Sciences, College of Natural Sciences and College of Nursing.
Job Responsibilities: The purpose of this position is to work with directors and department heads as well as with ASSC director to perform fiscal analysis, accounting, and budgeting of business activities for assigned units with an emphasis on excellent customer service. The ASSC Financial Program Assistant will provide timely and professional services that support or enhance the instructional, research and service goals of units served. This individual will be expected to maintain successful relationships and frequent communication with department heads and directors from academic or research units who receive service from the ASSC.
